Administrator: Reprographic Licensing

The above vacancy exists within the Reprographic department of DALRO and reports to the Supervisor: Reprographic Licensing. The purpose of the job is to perform general administrative functions including clerical duties.  The ideal candidate will be someone who has successfully completed Grade 12 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Administration and a minimum 3 years related working experience.

Key Performance areas:

  • Preparing data (spreadsheets) for uploading to licensing system, MMOs and Unisa;
  • Logging applications onto the Business Management System, uploading supporting documents and appending data;
  • Generating Invoices;
  • Receipting of payments;
  • Delivering documents to licensees (quotations and invoices, receipts, statements and outstanding quotations lists);
  • Logging Blanket Licence Reports on the Business Management System, uploading supporting documents and appending data;
  • Populating Blanket Licence Report distribution data, and matching existing works in database;
  • Investigating licensee queries and resolving these, or where required escalating these to the Reprographics Supervisor; and
  • General administration duties – faxing, filing, emailing and posting.

Minimum requirements:

  • Computer literacy with Advanced Excel skills, competency in other standard office software (Word, Acrobat);
  • Ability to become proficient in the use of non-standard software without challenge;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • An interest in the consumption of copyright-protected materials in all sectors; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
