Manager: Contract Administration Services

The above vacancy exists within the Contract Management Services Department and reports to the GM: Legal & Compliance. The purpose of the position is to administer all contracts and related processes throughout the business. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a legal background and/or degree or diploma in business administration and has at least 3 years’ experience working with contracts.

Key Performance areas may include:

  • Work with different levels of personnel within the organization to analyse and solidify overall contract administration strategy and processes. 
  • Co-ordinate actions with internal departments and legal team where necessary.
  • Report status of current contract processes to management.
  • Resolve any existing contract conflicts.
  • Create standards and rules for existing and new contacts.
  • Co-ordinate internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
  • Ensure that contractual terms and conditions are accurately executed and satisfied.
  • Anyalse potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization.   
  • General contract administration functions including:  
    • Invoicing.
    • Renewals.
    • Credit notes;
    • Write offs;
    • Terminations.
    • Data capturing.
  • Management of contract administration team.
  • Budgeting.
  • Development and monitoring of departmental strategy in accordance with organisational strategy.

Minimum requirements:

  • Advances level of PC and keyboard skills, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet packages & Google applications.
  • Proven ability to interpret information with a logic and systematic approach.
  • Working knowledge of SAMRO systems and processes would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Intermediate numerical ability.
  • Experience with working with contracts.
