PA to the Chief Financial Officer

The above position exists within SAMRO in the Executive Office. The purpose of the position is to provide administrative and personal assistance to the CFO’s office. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12, a formal recognised Executive Personal Assistant qualification, and at least 3 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant.

Goals:

  • Administration and assistance in the office of the CFO.
  • Diary management & travel management to the CFO.
  • General office administration.
  • Board and management reporting & documentation collation.
  • Stakeholder relationship management.

Minimum requirements:

  • Successfully completed Grade 12 with a formal Personal Assistant qualification;
  • At least 3 years working experience as a PA preferably with office administration experience;
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to draft appropriate correspondence independently; and
  • Exposure to financial administration such as processing expenditure vouchers and managing an office budget.
