Music Usage Capturer (12 month fixed-term contract)

The above vacancy exists within the Music Usage department in the Distributions division and reports to the Supervisor: Music Usage. The purpose of the position is to capture, match and link usage lines from usage journals to the SAMRO database.

Theideal candidate will be someone who has successfully completed Grade 12 with 6months’ experience as a Data Capturer.

Key Performance areas:

  • Capturing ,matching and linking reported usage

Minimum requirements:

  • Intermediatelevel of PC & Keyboard skills including working knowledge of wordprocessing & spreadsheet packages;
  • Matric;
  • 6months’ experience as Data Capturer;
  • Excellentdata capturing skills (speed and accuracy);
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills;
  • Abasic numerical ability;
  • Provenability to analyse information with a logic systematic approach;
  • Workingknowledge of SAMRO systems and research methodology would be an advantage.
