Quality Control Administrator

The above vacancy exists within the Quality Control department of the Distributions Division and reports to the Manager: Quality Control & Post. The purpose of this role is to ensure SAMRO’s reputation remains intact by applying quality assurance checks on processed and captured information in the Distributions division’s administrative systems, and to ensure data integrity is maintained. The ideal candidate would be someone who has successfully completed Grade 12 and has 1-2 years’ relevant experience.

Key Performance areas:

  • To ensure quality control of all documentation & licensing products.
  • Maintain relationships within the business with the purpose of ensuring accurate & on-time distributions.
  • General administration duties in relation to various functions within the department as and when required.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric and 1-2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Intermediate level PC & Keyboard skills including working knowledge of word processing & spreadsheet packages.
  • Proven track record of displaying meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of basic numeric and accounting principles.
  • Basic knowledge and an interest in musical works.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
