Business Development Associate

The above vacancy exists within the Licensing Division and reports to the New Business Manager. The purpose of the role is for the generation of revenue by getting completed signed licence agreements returned for processing as well as management of licensee relationships to ensure invoices are settled timeously. The role is responsible for creating and managing strategic relationships with corporate stakeholders and government, to assist in the management of collections from invoices, to negotiate and close contracts or deals with government entities and municipalities. Strategically plan and submit set plans.

The purpose of the role is for the generation of revenue by getting completed signed licence agreements returned for processing as well as management of licensee relationships to ensure invoices are settled timeously. The role is responsible for creating and managing strategic relationships with corporate stakeholders and government, to assist in the management of collections from invoices, to negotiate and close contracts or deals with government entities and municipalities. The ideal candidate will be someone who has successfully completed Matric and has a Degree in Business Administration or related field and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior sales/licensing role.

Goals:

·      Revenue Generation

·      Relationship Management

·      Debt Collection

·      Negotiating and concluding contracts with senior level management

·      Monthly Target Plan

·      Reporting

·      Resolution of Queries.

·      Reassessment and Inspections

·      Creation of Licensing Communication

 

Minimum requirements:

·      A Degree/Diploma in Business or related qualification

·      Three years in a senior sales/licensing role experience

·      Knowledge and experience of sales techniques (influencing, negotiating and prospecting)

·      Collective Management Organisation related experience would be beneficial

·      Code 08 driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

·      Advanced computer skills, including Word & Excel

·      Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

·      Sound understanding of pricing/discounting concepts will be an advantage

·      Good written and verbal communication skills

·      High level of numeracy

·      Accuracy and attention to detailis an essential requirement
